How to choose

Choosing among Redsack water dispenser pumps in three steps

  1. Check the bottle size

Standard 3 and 5 gallon bottles take the SP-02. For 1 and 2 gallon bottles you need the adapter that comes with the SP-03.

  2. Check the neck

Our jug caps seal necks of 55 to 60 mm. The Milk & Drink Dispenser fits small necks of 25 to 37 mm, the size of milk and juice jugs.

  3. Think about where it lives

At a desk or in a bedroom, quiet matters most. In an RV or at a campsite, the folding tube of the SP-03 packs flat.

From the kitchen counter to the campsite

The pump needs no outlet while it works. Charge it at home, and it runs a weekend of cooking, coffee and dish water from one jug.

Works well but design needs fine tuning

I was looking for a bottle pump that provides a decent stream of water, and this pump does just that. I might give it 5 stars after I try the recent replacement.Their customer service is easily 5 stars. The product is amazing, when it works as properly.I have had some problems with dependability. Most were due to a design glitch with the impeller that is at the end of the tubing. When it would stop running I had to remove the impeller tip and free up the moving part. The company stood behind their product without argument and have sent me a replacement with improvements in design.I will update the review if the new one is reliable.Overall I really like this pump. It holds a charge well, is quiet and fills things much faster than the others I have used.I wish it had an adapter so it would sit securely on the water bottles I use which have a smaller diameter opening.

    NO dribble here!!

Ok, so I wasn't thrilled about the price at the time, but I'm THRILLED that I bought this! I have been using a water pump in my 5 gallon water jugs since 2021. Ive gone thru 3 before this one. They are a lot cheaper, but the charge doesn't last very long and my last one had to be charged 3x to finish one 5 gallon jug and they keep shutting off in between. AND they pump a very slow stream of water. THIS one is on my second bottle and still going strong on the charge and it PUMPS SOOOOooooo much faster! VERY happy with this one and I highly recommend it!

Questions

Water Dispenser Pumps: answers

Does the pump need to be plugged in while I use it?

No. It runs from its own 2,000 mAh battery and charges by USB-C, like a phone.

Will the tube reach the bottom of a five-gallon jug?

Yes. With the tube fitted, the pump measures about 22 inches, enough to reach the bottom of a standard five-gallon bottle.

Can I leave the pump on the bottle?

Yes. It stays on the neck until the jug is empty. Rinse the tube with clean water when you change bottles.

Do the pumps heat or chill the water?

No. They move water at the temperature it has in the bottle.
